TEACH (The Educators Affiliation of Christian Homeschoolers) is located in northern Lancaster County, PA. Most activities run between September and April each year.
Who is Teach?
The Educators Association of Christian Homeschoolers (T.E.A.C.H)
Purpose Statement: TEACH exists to enhance and encourage home-centered, parent-directed Christian education in Northeastern Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
Goals: TEACH seeks to enhance the teaching and nurturing skills of home education parents through organized classes, field trips, and supplementary resources.
TEACH seeks to enhance the social and interactive skills of home-schooled children through fine arts opportunities.
TEACH seeks to enhance the physical development of home schooled children through organized team sports.
Methods: TEACH is a co-operative in organizational structure. There are no paid staff members. The accomplishment of the mission is dependent upon and responsive to the contribution of time, insight, and energy of its membership.
TEACH also functions through distinct cell groups to facilitate stronger relationships and improve access to activities.
In everything, TEACH seeks to maintain a Christian distinctive in its attitudes, appearance and spirit, “that we may be fashioned like unto His glorious body according as He is able even to subdue all things unto Himself” Phillippians 3:21.
